Charity Coins is
an offspring of Keystone Kingdom, a not-for-profit 501(c)(3)
organization which is dedicated to changing nations by feeding
people: Physically, Spiritually, Emotionally and
Practically. Charity Coins was
founded by Marshall Peters, an ordained minister and avid coin
enthusiast, in 2002. We are located in Lemont, PA,
at the foot of Mt. Nittany, and in the shadows of Penn State
University.

Our
Philosophy
Charity
Coins believes that it is better to teach a man to
fish than just to give a man a fish. As a result, we look to
involve ourselves in programs which feed people AND which teach
people how to feed themselves: Physically, Spiritually,
Emotionally and Practically. It is our aim to feed the hungry
and hurting while also providing direction, support, education and
capital to accomplish these goals with lasting results! Our
desire is to help people build lasting solutions to their needs,
rather than just meeting temporary needs. As a result, and due
to our wide range of contacts, we look to involve ourselves in
programs:
- That use Nationals as much as possible,
believing that they can accomplish more for less than any
visitor;
- Where 100% of supplied funding goes to the
actual field of need, not to "administrative" costs;
- Where the answer to the need is "built" for
lasting and ongoing results.
Our
Ministries
Charity
Coins is currently involved in funding and is
personally participating in:
- Feeding and planting crops for the starving
in the Nation of Mozambique.
- Teaching the Nation of Angola to read in
our Bible Based National Literacy Program.
- Construction and Financial provision for a
Children's Home in Belize.
- National Youth Conferences in
Bosnia.
- Capital and development for business
start-ups and jobs in Western Romania.
- Street Kids Housing and Education project
in Arad, Romania.
- Humanitarian Relief work in China.
- and many other projects!
Our Founder
Charity
Coins was founded by Mr. Marshall Peters, an
ordained minister, avid coin collector and business man in Lemont,
PA. In 1993, Mr. Peters went on a missions trip to Western
Romania to lead a seminar hosted by the Mayor of Arad, Romania on
"How to Start and Build a Business." While there, Mr. Peters
visited a small village in the foothills of the Transylvania
Alps where the 25 families had little visible means of support,
no capital, and no hope. Mr. Peters discovered that the men of
the village had several talents. Some were master woodworkers,
others could log and one had contacts with building supplies
centers. These men had banded together to attempt to
start a window and door making operation. They were using
a homemade saw mill which could saw one plank of wood in one hour
and then needed to be resharpened. Mr. Peters realized that the gift of a sawmill could
change this village for years to come. This experience brought
vision and drive to Mr. Peters as he witnessed first hand how a
one-time donation could bring lasting change, future and hope!
Mr. Peters has combined his personal contacts, pastoral experience,
business experience, knowledge of taxes and non-profit
organizations, his love & knowledge of coins, as well as his
business building experience into one organization which has as
its goal: Changing Nations by
seeking to feed people: Physically, Spiritually, Emotionally
& Practically. Thus Charity
Coins was born.
A fraction of Mr. Peters biographical
information includes:
- Serving as a home
missionary with the Southern
Baptist Convention (SBC)
- Serving as a
church planter and pastor (15 years)
- Ordinations by the SBC
& Others
- Membership in the
ANA (American Numismatic Association)
